Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan Program
SBA 7(a) Loans
- Purpose: Business start-ups, expansions and acquisitions
- Structure: Lender provides the loan with an SBA guarantee
- Eligibility: Most new and existing for-profit businesses qualify
- Loan amounts: Up to $2,000,000
SBA 504 Loans
- Purpose: Business start-ups, expansions and acquisitions
- Fixed-asset purchase only
- Structure:
- 50% bank loan
- 40% SBA 504 loan
- 10% borrower down
- Eligibility: Most new and existing for-profit businesses qualify
- SBA 504 loan contribution: Up to $4,000,000
USDA Business and Industry (B&I) Loan Program
Business & Industry Loans
- Purpose: Business start-ups, expansions and acquisitions
- Business must be in a rural area
- Structure: Lender provides the loan with a USDA guarantee
- Eligibility: Business must be in a rural area
- 50,000 or less population
- Loan Amounts: $500,000 – $10,000,000
