Executive Team

The Elsewhere Bank Executive Team operates at the highest level of organizational management and have the day-to-day responsibility of managing the Bank. They hold specific executive powers conferred onto them with and by authority of the Board of Directors and shareholders.

These are the men and women who drive Elsewhere Bank’s businesses. Our Executive Team sets the direction, creates vision, defines structure, aligns people, motivates and inspires, and builds new relationships.

Victor Lazslo

President
Chief Executive Officer

Before being named CEO in August 2009, Victor was Elsewhere Bank’s Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for all of the company’s worldwide sales and operations, including end-to-end management of Elsewhere Bank’s supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all markets and countries. He also headed Elsewhere Bank’s Wealth Management division and played a key role in the continued development of strategic commercial relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace.

Brigid O’Shaughnessy

Chief Operating Officer

Brigid O’Shaughnessy is Elsewhere Bank’s senior vice president of retail and online branches, reporting to CEO Victor Lazslo. Brigid is responsible for the operation and expansion of Elsewhere Bank retail and online branches, which have redefined the banking experience for thousands of customers in California. Elsewhere Bank branches set the standard for customer service with innovative features like interest-free loans, personal setup and one-to-one personal banking to help customers get the most out of their Elsewhere Bank products.

Kasper Gutman

Chief Financial Officer

Kasper Gutman is Elsewhere Bank’s executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer reporting to CEO Victor Lazslo. As CFO, Kasper oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, M&A, investor relations, internal audit and tax functions at Elsewhere Bank. Kasper joined Elsewhere Bank in 2010 as vice president of Finance and corporate controller, and has worked closely with Elsewhere Bank’s senior leadership since his arrival.

Wilmer Cook

Chief Counsel

Wilmer Cook is Elsewhere Bank’s general counsel and senior vice president of Legal and Government Affairs, reporting to CEO Victor Lazslo. Wilmer serves on the company’s executive team and oversees all legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation and securities compliance, as well as government affairs. Wilmer joined Elsewhere Bank from Bank of America in September 2009.

Effie Perine

Senior Vice President
Chief Marketing Officer

Effie Perine is Elsewhere Bank’s senior vice president of Marketing reporting to CEO Victor Lazslo. Effie is a member of Elsewhere Bank’s Executive Team. Since rejoining Elsewhere Bank in April 1999, Effie has helped the company create the best banking experience in the world with paperless checking, cardless ATMs, no-interest loans, high-interest savings accounts, and free automobile leases to people over 55.

Board of Directors

Elsewhere Bank’s Board of Directors oversees the Chief Executive Officer and other senior management in the competent and ethical operation of Elsewhere Bank on a day-to-day basis and assures that the long-term interests of shareholders are being served.

To satisfy the Board’s duties, directors are expected to take a proactive, focused approach to their positions, and set standards to ensure that Elsewhere Bank is committed to business success through the maintenance of high standards of responsibility and ethics.
